These steps happen inside your own GHL Customizer account after you have your login. You do the styling; nobody needs your GoHighLevel password.
Arrange the items
Drag, rename, re-icon and hide menu items, and add your own links.
Pick a layout
Sidebar, right dock, top bar or icon rail, then a sub-menu style, a header style and an optional quick menu.
Save
Agency and sub-account views update on their next page load. Change it again any time.

What is a GHL custom menu?
It is a rearranged GoHighLevel navigation: items renamed, reordered or hidden, a different layout such as a top bar, and sub-pages opening as mega menus. The customizer applies it in the browser, so your GoHighLevel settings and permissions stay as they are.
Which package includes mega menus?
Mega menus and the floating quick menu start at Cut & Colour ($357 one-time). Trim already lets you choose a sidebar or top-bar layout with your colors and logo.
Does hiding a menu item remove access?
No. Hiding is cosmetic and keeps the menu tidy. To stop someone reaching a page, use GoHighLevel user permissions as well.
Can the menu look different for my agency and for sub-accounts?
Yes. The editor has separate menus for the agency view and the sub-account view.
Will a top bar work on a phone?
Yes. On narrow screens the layout falls back to a compact menu so it stays usable. Use the phone toggle in the preview above to check.
Can I add a link to my booking page or price list?
Yes. Add custom links with your own label and icon, opening inside GoHighLevel or in a new tab.
What happens when GoHighLevel adds a new menu item?
New items show up in the editor so you can place, rename or hide them. Until you do, they appear in their default position.
Do I need to re-install anything when I change the menu?
No. The one-line loader you pasted once picks up every saved change on the next page load.
